First Responses to The Hedge Guild Oracle
This morning was my first chance to sit with the book and cards, and I am wowed by their beauty and soulfulness. I let the book fall open and found the Changeling entry by Wolf. I felt so unimaginably seen and soothed by this essay. It left me with an ahh-now-I-understand-myself-a-bit-more feeling. As one who passes for all kinds of normal on the outside, I struggle with my own willingness to yield to erasure of some of the truth-y things about myself, perhaps as an out-dated survival tactic.
And then I read the preface you wrote about the Hedge, and felt myself even more deeply exhaling. I love metaphor, and find it some days to be more my mother tongue than what I speak daily to others. I have not done any deep study of the hedge as mystical reality or metaphoric key, but felt something pinging or echoing with an excited, whispering yes as I read your words. I know the territory by other names, and not nearly deeply enough. I am looking forward to your companionship as I go deeper and still-er, in wonder and wander.
It seems good this morning to share this with you so that you can sense from the material realm the power of the good ripples flowing out from your work. I appreciate that you stay close to your Guide and that you are given so much to share out.

The Hedge Oracle Companion book is absolutely wonderful!. It is beautiful and the information is incredibly detailed and thorough, I absolutely LOVE it! The art is gorgeous and the cards move together like silk. First shuffle, first card ever drawn – The Violet – and wow, this section feels like it was pretty much written for me, so much that I've been deeply reflecting on and feeling lately. And when I was first looking at the cards, one by one, I had a feeling when I came to the Bone Mother that this card was reaching out to me in some way. Bone Mother and Violet make a powerful pair speaking to what some of my deepest points of resistance/fear, calling, and transformation are at this time in my life. What you and Wolf have created here, channeled, however you describe it, this is absolutely wondrous!
