As Editor-in-Chief of Plant Healer, Inga Iwanowska's roots in herbalism and botany trace back to her upbringing in the Gila Wilderness, where she learned from her mother, Kiva Rosethorn. Inga aids Plant Healer with promotion and outreach. Residing in Poland with her husband, she immerses herself in the language, culture, and flora, finding solace in expressing her internal world through poetry and stories on her blog Persephone's Night Garden: https://bleedingbrambles.wordpress.com

  • Kiva Rosethorn is an author, mythologist, herbalist, and perfumer exploring the meeting place of story, psyche, and the green world. Her work in mythic herbalism arises from over two decades of immersion in plant medicine and wilderness practice, including more than twenty years spent living off the grid on a botanical sanctuary in the high elevation forests of New Mexico. There she has developed her unique approach to animistic biognosis, a relational way of knowing plants that weaves together myth, clinical herbalism, and the visionary imagination.
